I would have loved to have rated this place a little bit higher, but there were just too many faults. We arrived at 2015, half an hour after our original ETA to find reception closed with no-one about. We eventually noticed a note taped to the wall with our room number and a code for the key box on the wall. A bit pointless locking the box when the code is written next to it surely? We found our room after realising that floors 3 and 4 are on the same level but in different halves of the building! Not at all confusing. The room was, as expected, small. Very small. We moved the bed from the wall to give access to it and realised that there was one duvet placed at a 90 degree angle to where it should be. It was longer than it was wider and as it was warm it was okay, but we think someone didn't put the right duvet in that room. The other thing that was omitted was the curtains. When we mentioned this we were told that they were out to be washed and would be re-hung later. Two dayswaking up to an early dawn followed. The TV remote had an exploded battery in it and there was no soap in the shower dispenser. Both issues sorted by the helpful chap on reception, but they shouldn't have been issues in he first place. Breakfast was uninspiring, Adequate and functional, but lacking. The rooftop breakfast room also serves as the hotel bar and cold beers can be purchsed for a reasonable price, for cash only. No card, no putting it on your room bill. There's more, but I'm out of charact
