Checkin was quite stressful because we were a late arrival but called ahead, desk closed at 10 and we arrived at 10:25. We were told to call the front desk when we arrived and someone would meet us to get in...after 20+min of calling all numbers available, getting hung up on by the corporate number because its locally owned, I messaged the hotel from my reservation with the understanding "they may not get back to us right away". Someone saw the message and came down...i guess the call forward wasnt going to her after hours. We were thankful to see her face and just get a bed to sleep in after being on the road for over 12 hrs that day. We reserved a king bed but got a queen, no hand towels or even an extra towel to use as one, bed was so close to the wall that it was difficult for two people, freezer had icicles hanging in it, blinds let outside parking light in and no curtain. Starting off with a negative checkin, we noticed a lot more of the downfalls that wouldnt usually bother us much.
