The hostel is located in Chinatown. The east side of the building felt relatively okay, but the west side had a large number of homeless people and felt very unsafe. Most of the guests seemed to be Chinese travelers.
Check-in & Staff
When I arrived, there was a sign saying to download the GOKI app. However, when I entered the Expedia confirmation number into the app, it was rejected as invalid. Since I had not received any prior instructions, I had no choice but to press the intercom and be let in to check in. The staff were friendly, but there were serious mistakes. While the GOKI app ensured that only registered guests could enter the room, there was no way to secure my belongings against other roommates, which felt unsafe. Each capsule came with a GOKI-controlled locker, but in my case the locker was located outside the room, making luggage management very inconvenient.
Facilities
The building is three floors with no elevator, which would be difficult for anyone with heavy luggage. Wi-Fi was available, but it did not reach inside the capsule, making
