During my birthday weekend from February 12th to 15th, I stayed at My Place Hotel in Raleigh. The time, atmosphere, and staff were exceptional. The room was immaculate, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the overall experience.
However, I encountered two issues during my stay. Firstly, the remote control was malfunctioning, which was not a significant concern for me. I requested assistance from the staff, and they promptly provided me with a replacement controller.
The second issue was more concerning. While other residents with dogs were permitted on the property, my room was directly above another resident with a small dog. Since Friday, this dog has been barking incessantly every day. Despite increasing the volume, the dog’s barking remained disruptive, making it difficult to concentrate, watch television, or engage in any other activities. Also, in the morning on Friday and as well
on Saturday, I informed the hotel staff about the complaint. The owner responded by increasing the volume of the television throughout the night. I am uncertain of the exact time, but from approximately 9:00 PM on Valentine’s Day, the volume was raised until nearly 5:00 AM the following morning. This hotel is undoubtedly a five-star establishment, provided that unforeseen circumstances do not arise. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and experience here with my significant other. We would eagerly return, provided that the barking dog issue is resolved. We appreciate the apology.
