A basic room in a fantastic location for tourists (it is in Ximen, many shops, restaurants, convenience stores and close to Ximen MRT). However, there was no room service (labeled as an eco friendly hotel but not obviously in the marketing prior to getting here) - though we were always able to ask for more towels. Bit of mould in the bathroom which was long standing, and no AC temperature control we could find (centralised AC which was at a decent temp though). Overall was intended as a stay at a cheaper price than other accommodation in Taipei so you do need to weigh that up (booked some weeks prior to trip). We didn't mind not having amenities as there was so much to do in Taipei and we got out most of the day, arriving home often after ten/eleven at night.
