The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious and comfortable rooms. However, the service experience was a major disappointment. After waiting an hour, we were finally given our room at 4:00 PM, only to find it wasn't what we had reserved and paid for. We booked a high-floor corner room but were assigned a standard room on a middle floor.
When we returned to reception to request a change, a staff member named Isaac was incredibly dismissive. He peevishly insisted, “Those are our corner rooms.” His response felt like an attempt to gaslight me—as if I couldn't distinguish a middle room from a corner one—or a sign that the hotel is comfortable overcharging for inferior rooms.
My expectations were very low after that, but the restaurant staff managed to turn things around. Armando, in particular, was exceptionally kind and professional.
Note for travelers: This property recently rebranded from Marriott to Hyatt. Many taxi drivers are still unaware of the change, so you may need to mention the old name to get there.
