I am a returning guest and stayed for two nights over the weekend. Unfortunately, this experience was noticeably worse than my previous stay, which was at least five years ago.
The hotel still enjoys a great location, with easy access by both JR and car, and the availability of on-site parking is a definite advantage. The onsen area was also well maintained and provided a pleasant experience.
However, the guest rooms now appear more worn and dated compared to what I remember. The hotel requests guests to remove their shoes upon entering the main lobby, dining area, and guest rooms, which is understandable. However, during breakfast, the dining room floor felt somewhat sticky, which was not very pleasant. Perhaps this was due to the larger number of guests over the weekend, but it gave the impression that housekeeping and cleanliness standards have declined.
The breakfast selection was acceptable, though nothing particularly memorable. Overall, while the location and facilities remain good, the hotel no longer offers the same level of comfort and quality that I experienced during my previous visit.
