I stayed at Tempe Oasis Hotel for one night and would give it an average rating of 3 stars. The location is convenient, especially if you’re looking for quick food options nearby.
Check-in was a bit odd — no one was at the front desk after 6pm, so I had to use door and room codes that were sent to me. While that worked fine, it didn’t feel very welcoming.
The biggest issue was the cleanliness and an awful smell in the room (Room 244). I’m not sure where it was coming from, but it seemed like the couch. It was so bad I closed the door to the living area and stayed in the bedroom all night. Unfortunately, there was no TV in the bedroom either, so I ended up watching shows on my phone. The room itself felt very outdated.
On the plus side, the property grounds looked nice and there’s a pool and jacuzzi, although I didn’t get a chance to use them.
Overall, I’d only recommend staying here if it’s not in the same room I was given. For a short one-night stay it was manageable, but the odor was a serious downside.
