Check- in was easy, and the front desk staff was very helpful. They provided a transit pass for the duration of the stay, which made traveling back and forth around Banff simple and car- free; this is good because the vehicle and pedestrian traffic was a little heavy over the weekend. The whole place was obviously recently redone, and done well design-wise with a nice mix of modern and more traditional design.
The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice balcony view of the mountains to the west and a large bathroom that looked to be wheelchair accessible.
The rooftop hot pools were great after a long day of hiking, and the staff had room service deliver a tasty treat since it was our anniversary. We had dinner in the restaurant on our anniversary, and again we were given special treatment; the food was great as was the service.
They're located on the eastern edge of town, but we actually liked that as it felt a bit more like a refuge after a day of being downtown; and with the bus pass transportation was a non- issue. All in all, we had a great stay and I'd recommend this place to anyone.
