The hotel is located conveniently, but I was dissatisfied with customer care.
1. The hotel still has a reservation fee locked on my credit card. I paid for my stay upon arrival, which is about 1.5 week ago, and checked out about a week ago. Why has the reservation fee not been lifted? And why does Moxy not communicate anything to their guests?
2. I paid for breakfast buffet while at the hotel to find that several breakfast items were no longer available due to the time of day. They did not wanna restock these items even though I had already paid.
3. I had left my earplugs on the bedside table. When cleaning, my guess is the housekeeper accidentally knocked the table, and vacuumed my earplugs. They were gone from my room upon my return. I made the front desk aware, who promised to look into the matter. They never followed up with me.
4. Finally. I had placed our towels on the floor for housekeeping to provide new ones. Upon my arrival back at the hotel, there were no new towels. Called front desk to request new towels, which would be sent up. Great. An hour later, still no towels. I call again. Front desk promises to send towels. Ask how many we are. I say two ppl, and state that we just need big towels for showering. Few mins later a staffer arrives with three hand towels. We make due.
Not the level of service I expect tbh. Had to buy new earplugs - these were not just reg earplugs but custom made for my ears which are smaller than others.
