It was a pleasant stay — the rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was delicious and sufficient. The pool was definitely the highlight: very large, with plenty of space, and the poolside service was fast and helpful. The private beach was great as well, although the service there could be improved. We often had to ask for towels and sunbeds, and one of the staff members saw us but chose to ignore us.
One thing I would like to point out is the security check at the gate. It’s good that they check vehicles and open the trunk for safety reasons. However, one night, a security guard even asked me to open my small handbag. That is a personal item, and he had no right to look inside. He didn’t do this to anyone else, and since all guests are already scanned again before entering the premises, this felt unnecessary and inappropriate. It was a violation of my privacy. It almost felt as if I were entering an airport, a prison, or a nightclub — not arriving as a guest of the hotel.
Because of this particular experience, I would think twice about staying there again.
