Stayed in the “residence” part. When we arrive, nobody had our reservation and had to contact a gentleman through WhatsApp who came down and walked us to our room and gave us the key. He left without giving us any instruction. He was the property manager I think. Never got his name.
Showed us to our rooms. Evidently there was a water switch we had to turn on and allow the water to warm up. We didn’t know that, so my friend took a cold shower. Several of the pieces of furniture were broken, stained, crappy looking. There was mold on the ceiling, also it looked like there had been a water leak that was about to explode in the ceiling, there was an infestation of cockroaches. When I pulled back the covers on my bed, it looked like a large blood stain. The toilet seat was cracked and taped on both sides. There was orange tubing (floor to ceiling) that they threw tan paint on, I think to camouflage. Asked for another room. The shower head n room 2 didn’t work properly. Still cockroach infestation. Good view and cleaner than the other.
We didn’t know we had to take one of the only 2 towels from the room to the pool. We asked for toilet paper and didn’t receive it for over and hour. I asked the manager to meet me at 6:50 since we had a 7:00 taxi and I had to call him to wake him up. Couldn’t just leave keys.
Even though it was the same name, couldn’t use the same facilities as the “hotel guest”.
Good location, close to HOHO Bus. Pool and spa were nice. Connected to mall.
