I had pre-arranged with the hotel for airport pickup and transportation but it took over 2 hours for them to actually come and get me. One driver arrived after 45 min but he was there to pick up another couple, despite having my name and confirmation on his phone.
Check-in at the hotel was easy & efficient. I did not like the hard sales push after check-in, as we had been traveling all day and just wanted to get into our rooms.
My room flooded the first night, with water coming in from the ceiling near the door and throughout the bathroom. I had about 2 inches of water in my room before I was finally moved to a new room. It was close to 11:30pm by the time I got to my new room.
The hostess for the Mexican and Italian restaurants was rude. The first night she told us we must have a reservation, despite the restaurant only being half full. As we started to leave, she stopped us and told us she would seat us but insisted that tomorrow we would need a reservation. The second night we had a reservation but accidentally made it for the next night. She refused to seat us, but again as we started to leave, she agreed to seat us.
The wait staff at breakfast was very reluctant to serve us mimosas. The pool bar on Sunday was out of Sparkling Wine and White wine.
The hotel is great need of updating. Most of the staff were pleasant but the people working the bar were less than pleasant, throughout the hotel.
The pool does not have enough chairs to support the volume of guests.
