Mixed feelings about this stay. Instructions on the confirmation said to advise what time we would be arriving so that we could be sent check-in instructions and this had to be done 24 hours in advance. I tried numerous ways to contact them with no response. Just before getting on the ferry from Haida Gwaii the morning that we would be checking in we finally got a response saying "reservation confirmed" but no check-in instructions. We arrived to a note on the door saying to go in and make ourselves comfortable and to call to let them know we had arrived. I called but no answer again. She did call back but seemed annoyed by my call. The room was nice enough, fairly clean and comfortable but the spiral staircase was a bit precarious for me as I had recently had knee replacement surgery. There was another staircase on the outside of the house that we were able to use. The breakfast options were good and you could go downstairs or have room service. We chose room service mostly because of the stairs. The first morning went smoothly but the second morning we needed to get on the road by 8:30 am. We requested breakfast at 8 am but by 8:30 am it still hadn't arrived. We texted and said we had to leave. She called back and said she forgot it was room service, she seemed apologetic but she was more concerned about payment, I thought it was automatic through hotels.com but apparently it wasn't. I was able to give her my credit card by phone so it worked out.
