We arrived on Thursday, August 21st. We were there for my 2-year-old son's birthday. This property was convenient to Sesame Place, but there were issues. We did not have a microwave from Thursday until Saturday. We were informed that there was a microwave downstairs in the lobby area, but the elevator that was near our room was out of order. That meant we would have to walk down our hall, around a corner and then down another hall for the back elevator. That was very inconvenient especially if you are carrying food for 3 adults and 1 child. The microwave was replaced and while it was being replaced, 2 lights had blown. Someone came to change the bulbs, but had the wrong bulbs and had to go find differnet ones. Of course, this person seemed to have an attiude. Any time we took our dogs out, we had to walk down 3 flights of stairs. Major inconvenience! Also, while there, we could not access the pool as it was closed due to maintenance. The first notification about the pool stated it would be closed until the 22nd, but changed to the 27th. That was a major inconvenience as well due to me booking the hotel for the indoor pool. My son loves pools, and we had planned to spend a lot of time in the pool. Unfortunately, we could not do so. I was compensated, which when asked, it was a slight attitude about it. To be honest, I would not recommend this hotel, while it may be convenient to Sesame Place, I would rather pay more elsewhere than to deal with all the inconveniences. Thanks!
