The staff were friendly and helpful, however there were some frustrating aspects of the room. The toilet was extremely difficult to flush. The buttons would not work properly, so they sent staff in to take a look. They told me I had to press the buttons very hard to get it to flush...I struggled with this my entire stay. I was able to flush it but it was difficult each time and took me several tries to do so. The television kept freezing and locking up and I kept having to unplug it and restart it to get it to work. The wifi was very spotty and kept dropping connection throughout the stay. I ended up having to just use my phone service as a hotspot instead even though it used up my data. I kept finding several hairs all over the tub and sink that were not mine the first night. It was also quite loud in the evenings, I could hear people talking above me, in the hall, and outside the window through the evening.
Additionally, I kept finding small, dead flying bugs on the comforter and had to keep brushing them off.
I can appreciate it is an old building, but I do think the Lodge could at least look into replacing the old television and maybe replacing the toilet buttons or fixing them in some way to make it easier to flush.
Perhaps a wifi extender as well.
No complaints about the staff, however. They were friendly.
