NNever again will I stay at that motel. I made a reservation online, and when I arrived, the staff couldn’t find the booking under my name in their system. They asked if I had an email confirmation, which I showed them. To their surprise, it was not in their computer system. I asked them to call and verify the reservation, as I had already paid for it. After about 20 minutes, they located my reservation, and everything was resolved.
Later in the evening, after returning from the hospital, I turned on the TV. The remote control was mismatched, so I couldn’t change the settings or turn on subtitles. I went to see the staff, but they said there was nothing they could do to help.
The room smell mew but dusty. The bathroom light was dusty, the toilet cistern was not cleaned, and the shower drain was blocked.
I believe the health department should investigate to ensure that each room is thoroughly cleaned and maintained for the safety and comfort of all guests. If the cleanliness cannot be guaranteed, the motel should be shut down permanently.
