On arrival the receptionist told us about the night club, but assured us that our room was far enough away so that we wouldn't hear it! The "music "started late evening and finally I rang reception about oneish to find out when it would be over, and was told 2am, I was offered a change of room but it didn't seem worth it for an hour, eventually the "music" ceased but then the revellers gathered below our, single glazed, window so it was after 3 before we had some peace. The only thing we could hear was the continual beat of drums, and did not hear any actual music, but the drums rocked the beds. If we were far enough to be unaffected I dread to think what anyone nearer did about sleeping. The food was good the staff were pleasant and it is a pity that the noise spoiled an otherwise enjoyable break in a very comfortable hotel. Next time I will go mid week and not on a Saturday!
