The first room I was given was not cleaned properly. There were hairs in the bathroom and water spots on the counters, mirrors, and sinks in both the bathroom and kitchenette area. There were also dirty utensils in the sink. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they made arrangements for me to have an upgraded room at no additional charge. Vanessa, the front desk clerk, took me around to available rooms on the same floor. Each of the additional rooms also had issues with cleanliness and maintenance issues. Lots of dinged up walls and marks in finishes for a building that supposedly is so newly renovated; also, the towel bars all seemed to be loose or coming off the walls plus one shower door was leaking. There were other issues like apparent shoddy workmanship in the placement of light switches and outlets. I settled on a loft room with a view but still had issues. Very low water pressure in shower, coffee maker didn't work, the thermostat had no usage instructions, and the selection of TV viewing options was also less than satisfying. The coffee maker was replaced but despite bringing the water pressure to staffs attention it was never addressed during my stay. I was in town for only two nights, so I made the best of it. The grab and go options provided for breakfast was lacking. I do want to mention that the staff were pleasant and accommodating but the facility felt unfinished like the remodel had been rushed with several noticeable flaws in the rooms.
