The room was basic but worked for us. Bed was comfortable (Had to ask reception for TV remote as not one in the room). Breakfast was cooked to order and very nice. Hotel is in need of updating but a cheap option for 1 night stay, near to family.

4/10 - Aceitável

Do not stay here if you need wheelchair access there are steps in numerous places. Only the upper floors rooms have walk in showers and there is no lift. You are unable to watch terrestrial channels you have to sign in with your password or register to watch. Breakfast was huge excellent. Parking is good including disabled. Staff did their best and were friendly. Room was good with walk-in shower but mattress could be better.

Pros - lots of parking, big tv with loads of channels, bath rather than just a shower, great tea tray Cons - grouting smeared over tiles around bath, wardrobe had no doors on, single beds pushed together however they different heights so not comfortable during the night

Dreadfully uncomfortable beds. Lack of staff meant reception and bar covered by same person. Fire alarm went off intermittently. Would not recommend.

The hotel is very pleasant with very friendly and accommodating staff. We had a double room which didn't have much space around the large bed - we had to open the suitcase along the small corridor as there wasn't much free floor space in the room. But the bed was huge and very comfortable. The room has a kettle with tea/coffee as standard. There was no chair so we had to sit on the bed while drinking small cups of tea. The bedroom was adequate with bath and shower facilities however the plug didn't fit the bath. Overall, adequate hotel with easy access to Warrick University.

Excellent value for money. Staff were friendly and gave us a warm welcome. In the evenings one member of staff was on reception, serving in the bar and waiting in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she came to rescue us when she spotted us having trouble with our key card on the security screen. Aircon excellent, towels and linens spotlessly white. Room clean but decor a bit dated. Breakfast good value and well presented.

Pleased to say the hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Only a few relatively minor issues, kitchen was closed for the evening and only served a continental breakfast. Leamington Spa is only 10 minutes away and has a wide range of options in the evening. Double bed was two singles pushed together so had a hard border in the middle, but as I was travelling alone this wasn’t a major problem. Staff is a little thin on the ground but everything is covered well. If I was in the area again I would still consider staying here.

Rooms were tidy enough and everything was there but they are starting to look very tired or it seems that some changes have been made but not finished. We did not have a TV remote and though the staff were very helpful, it did take 2 requests before they got me one. The restaurant finshes serving at 8.15 which is very early and the menu is not large but the food was actually quite nice and a good quantity. Overal, the staff were nice, friendly and helpful but I think the hotal appearance is a bit of a let down.

A nice hotel with helpful & polite staff. Easy to find & seemed to be plentiful parking available. The evening meal and breakfast were both excellent and served to a high standard.
