Faded glory
The check in wasn't easy. No one was there, and everything had to be arranged by phone. We were told we still had to pay tourist tax and had to send a copy of our ID cards. Otherwise, we wouldn't receive the code for the room we'd already paid for. We hadn't received an email about this, and it was completely new to us. A very unpleasant start. We ended up paying €4 tourist tax and sending a photo of our ID cards by WhatsApp. Then we received the code of the room, again without any explanation. It turned out you had to get the keys from a safe in the living room.
The room was okay. Lovely big bed. Relatively quiet. However, the furniture were very old, with broken parts here and there. Bathing was impossible, as the water stop wasn't there. Showering was possible, but the shower curtain was far too small for the tub. The beds were clean, but the furniture was very dusty, and there was mold on the walls and ceiling.
We slept well, as it was quiet and the bed was very comfortable, but we wouldn't go back to this place.
