Well, i never made it inside. It was 8 pm when i arrive and the door ws locked. There was a ring doorbell and a phone number. Neither were answered so I left. Building is disgusting. Zero signs out. The only reason i knew i was in the right place was the address on the building was the same as this reservation. Also, there was another hotel's sign in the front on a tall pole. Nothing aboit this place was even ok.

Upon arrival the sign was not lit and it looked closed. There was only one vehicle in dimly lit parking lot, It seemed very unsafe and questionable. Appeared closed. We arrived at about 9:00 p.m. Apparently the only vehicle was employee working at the desk. We walked inside and told him we wanted to check in and the guy was friendly enough, although not very talkative unless being talked to. He got us checked in rather quickly and gave us a key card and told us our room number. We went to the room but the door would not open. The key worked fine but something was blocking the door. We went back to the desk and told the employee that our door would not open and he did not seem surprised. He started typing something into the computer and then handed us a different key and said to go to a different room. It is a very dated hotel and it does not appear to be maintained well. When we entered our room it smelled musty. There was peeling paint in the bathtub and wallpaper. No towels in the room. There was mildew or dust along the baseboards. The toilet would not flush unless we removed the lid and manually flushed it. The alarm clock was unplugged as was the television. There was conduit running along the walls on the inside of the room. Stains and crust on the sheets. Told guy toilet wouldn't flush, he said he'd let maintenance know. Would have went elsewhere if not so late. Didn't unpack, slept on top of blanket. Checked out early. Checkout was quick. Employee -nice. Hotel-bad.

When I arrived, the Internet, telephone and television services were not working. However, the Desk Clerk did not tell me about this. I learned this later after I tried to use these services. When I walked down to the desk, I was told that they were not sure when services were going to be available. No apologies, no customer service attempts at all. I will never stay here again or recommend.

First room we were given was riddled with mold so bad you could smell it and see it on pictures on the wall and furniture. Second room also. Third room appeared better but in disrepair with peeling wallpaper and old carpet and fixtures. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast was only cereal, toast or waffles. Area is ok and not too far drive to either Mansfield or Ontario for shops and restaurants. Staff seemed disinterested with issues or overall service (but did address concerns when brought forth). They did tell us hotel was being renovated soon. Second floor and pool isnā€™t even operational. Itā€™s cheap for a reason.

If you want a five star luxury hotel look elsewhere. BUT if you need a inexpensive room for a couple of nights this was great. The room was clean had good water pressure from the shower! Myself, son and daughter had a good nightā€™s sleep here while we were at Mid-Ohio for MotoAmerica superbike races. We also took in some of the Movie sights from Shawshank Redemption. We enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay here again next year!

The room had a mildew odor. Bathroom door would not shut. Keycard did not work and reprogramed it 3 times in one day. 2 people in my party left because of odor in there room. Recommend spending the extra money and staying somewhere nicer.

Had a smell to the place. Shower and tub leaked water. There was probably an inch of water in the bathroom from shower leak. The shower head was squirting water everywhere. The fridge did keep drinks cold and the ac worked half ass!!! Would not recommend this place

Check in was fast, friendly and easy.breakfast was very basic but adequate. It was cheap, ($ 66us) but pay the extra $30 and stay somewhere else, the place was super grubby. The whole place kinda stinks of mould/dampness and needs a complete renovation from top to bottom or knocked down completely ! There was very little or nothing to do in the immediate area, but some decent chain restaurants and shopping within an easy ten minutes drive.. All in all, give the place a miss !

Pool not available. Ice machines out of service. Room was ok. Staff wasnā€™t really friendly. Did the job efficiently but didnā€™t go out of their way to service customer. Upon checkout didnā€™t thank us or ask if everything was okay.
