I stayed at this hotel for 10 days for a festival and unfortunately, it fell short in a few key areas.
First, the housekeeping was subpar—despite obvious sand/dust on the floor, I had to specifically ask them to mop, as it wasn’t done during their routine cleaning.
Second, In all my previous four years of travel around Southeast Asia (travel approx every 3 months), I never had issues with visitors—hotels would just ask for their IDs if needed. But here, security simply said "no" with zero explanation, and even after I asked, no reason was given. Simply just denied access. If this visitor restriction is a policy, it really should be stated clearly on the website, so future guests can make an informed decision about booking a room here.
Thirdly, the gym was inadequate—no space for a proper workout, just a bike and another couple of cardio equipments and kettlebell Weights. Also, the room was small and very stuffy, making it hard to breathe.
Lastly, the food around the hotel was overpriced and not as flavorful—if you just walk 10 minutes along the next street behind the hotel (as in walking away from the beach), there are much better, cheaper and more options.
