This hotel needs to close down until all renovations are completed. The workmanship is at the level of handyman special and all elevators were shut down. Elevator issues is the first indication of what’s to come. Some of us took to the stairs because we couldn’t sit around waiting for them to fix the 1 operational elevator. 4 elevators and only 1 was barely functional. Worried it was gonna drop when I stepped out of it. This is the old meadowlands hotel, it’s in terrible shape. Even my gps and Uber app had issues with the address because it doesn’t come up as Ramada. Whoever is performing the work is far from professional, and the evidence is everywhere you look. Lobby, foyer, elevator hall, elevator, ice machines, floor halls, room entrance door, room fixtures, room paint, tv remote, room phone doesn’t connect to desk, room window view was dirty and closed with a self tapping screw, the window gap made for a nice wind whistle, bathroom door didn’t close well and had rust stains, hard water stains, paint stains, even the peep hole had paint wash on it. The bed was comfortable though, and the room heater/ac unit worked well.
Close down, hire professionals and stop doing the work yourselves. Maybe open the top floor restaurant/bar and fix your online address issues so Uber doesn’t go down the street to the other Ramada. Way too expensive for it to be looking like it does. Cannot recommend, and will not be staying here again.
