I'm still fighting to get a refund back. Double charged after being instructed to cancel my 3rd party "incorrect" reservation and rebook with the hotel directly. It's been 10 days, filled with emails/phone calls with this terrible booking website ... and I'm now disputing through my bank because it's nothing but wasted time. I literally waited at the hotel front desk while hotel.com customer service "called the hotel front desk to get refund approval". They never called, would come back on the line to say that the front desk agent answered and declined refund, so the charge for a cancellation would stand. I was standing with the front desk agent the entire time and no one called-- they just lie. Use a different booking site or call the hotel directly to save yourself money and wasted hours of your life.
