We stayed at the Ruby Molly Hotel in Dublin. The room was clean, fairly small, but had enough space to place our belongings, and the bed was comfortable. It was also bright and pleasant, though the humidity inside the room was a real issue ā nothing seemed to dry, even with the dehumidifying function on.
A nice touch was the Marshall speaker, which allowed us to connect our phones and enjoy good-quality sound. However, despite requesting twin beds, this was not provided. At least we were given two separate duvets. Slippers are not included, and when we asked, we were told to buy them from the vending machines ā but none were available.
Coffee and tea facilities are not in the room but on each floor, which was convenient, though we would have preferred having them inside the room. Dinner options were very limited, with only three types of pizza available, and the quality was mediocre.
The location is central, but the surrounding neighborhood feels deserted and a bit dark at night, not the most welcoming atmosphere when returning late. On the positive side, the staff were always very kind and helpful.
One unusual aspect is the room layout: the sink is placed inside the main room, and the shower is in a glass cabin right next to the bed. Thankfully, there was a curtain for privacy, otherwise it would have felt awkward.
