Our second stay at a bubble property, we preferred the other location at Olvishot to this location. Stay was excellent except no northern lights :-(

This is our favourite hotel we have ever stayed in. Despite the summer sun, we slept deep and well. Facilitues were lovely and clean and the town nearby had fantastic restaurant options. 10/10 would recommend and will be back! Super helpful staff, that we cannot thank enough.

Warm water and toilet paper in the shared bathrooms were a challenge

This would not be for everyone but you have to be prepared to stay in a clear “igloo” like bubble. Staff was friendly and there upon arrival but it is a small cabin with 2 shared bathrooms and showers for everyone staying. There is a fridge and coffee if wanted. The only thing in the bubble is a very comfortable bed, a small light and electric outlet. Each bubble is private and there is nothing like looking overhead into trees and the sky. The bed was the most comfortable bed with plenty of down pillows and comforters. They give you a lantern if you need to use it for the evening. We woke up to the sunrise very refreshed. Definitely an interesting and fun experience.

6/10 - Boa

A very good experience being immersed in nature around the clock, very clean, and fresh towels are ready every day. But the common room lacks a bit of equipment — only 1 large pot and one pan, alternatively a microwave/air fryer, a smaller pot, and a little oil to fry with. Very nice that there’s coffee and tea, but completely impossible to get cold water out of the tap.

Marvellous place in rural Iceland with a chance to see the northern lights from the comfort of your own bed. Not a lot of amenities but thats fine, a place to stay for a couple of nights

We enjoyed our stay in the bubble, there are not any on-site staff and while we did not run into any issues, you need a land line to call to contact for assistance. We were able to see the northern lights and the bed was nice and toasty warm, overall an enjoyable experience.

What a cool place to stay! If I could ask for if I stayed again is a small table to place my every day carry.
