When we arrived, we found that there were no vehicles allowed in the area. The taxi dropped us off where we had to walk a few blocks, dragging our suitcases along cobblestone sidewalks. After we found out he could have dropped us off closer, only a 1-1/2 block walk. There was no mention in the property description about the no vehicle zone area. We were given a room that had an iced up freezer that needed defrosting. After complaining we were given another room. The bathroom sink was not in the bathroom, but was in the living area. The shower door opened out so having the shower mat on the floor was no good. The shower door should have been a sliding door. The water pressure was good, however the water temperature was scalding hot, very unsafe. The kitchen chairs should have felt glides on the legs. this would take away the noise of chairs being dragged across the floor as the person above us seemed to enjoy. The ironing board was a tiny hang on a rack, and use on a counter top. very inconvenient. The 2 sharp kitchen knives had bent tips, doesn't anyone check this stuff. The person above us stomped around like a moose, disturbing our sleep. On the last night, as we had to check out early, we asked the girl at the front desk if she could ask the tenant to walk softer. If she actually did it was to no avail. No broom.Overall the apartment is in a great location, the bed was comfortable & the shower was good, barring the door issue. Aicha was very helpful & pleasant to deal with.
