I’ve never stayed in a hotel/apartment that didn’t supply bed sheets, so this is a first. Tried contacting staff on multiple occasions and got no reply. Pretty poor and obviously unhygienic. Looking at other reviews we weren’t the only visitors to experience this issue.
The room itself was fine, only having two towels for the 3 nights wasn’t ideal, and no hand towel was also strange.
The building itself, is dated to say the least. It reminded me of the film Taken. Which probably isn’t a good thing!
Front door looked sub standard, and the internal door had no window pane (security risk!). The lift did work, luckily as it was a bit of a trek up to the top floor. When you get into the room, there is no way to lock the door from the inside, something to think about for solo or young travellers.
What I would say is, read reviews before you book, as if I’d done that in retrospect, I wouldn’t have even considered staying here.
Oh yeh, and there’s the random €38 cleaning fee that didn’t tell you about!
Decent enough location fairly close to Keleti station and to Blaha which is well connected. Area itself is fine.
