I stayed at this hotel for four nights during a solo trip to Bucharest. The best part is the location: right by Piata Romana, a major transport hub with many bus lines and even the hop-on/hop-off stop. Despite the traffic outside, the room was quiet, and it was easy to get around the city.
My single room matched the photos, was clean and tidy, and the bed was fine. Room size was okay for one person, though the TV did not work.
Facilities are very limited. The lobby feels outdated, and reception is on the first landing with only a few chairs and tables. There are no common areas or activities, so I would not recommend it for families. For a short stay as a solo traveler or couple, it can be sufficient.
Staff were polite but service was average. When towels were missing, I was told none were available until the next day, with no apology. When I asked for an iron (listed as available), I was simply told they did not have one.
Breakfast was not served at the hotel since the restaurant was closed. Instead, it was provided at a small café down the street. The selection was simple (mainly bread and eggs) but fine for a light start.
On my departure morning, I found an elderly couple sleeping in the lobby, which left a strange impression but didn’t affect my stay.
Overall, this hotel is fine if you just need a clean room in a great location. Solo travelers or couples will manage well, but families or anyone expecting more comfort and service should look elsewhere.
