We have stayed at this property many times over the past 3-4 years. Great location & is a very nice hotel. However, this morning I asked Fatima a Hilton trainee, to print my receipt. She was completely clueless and didn’t ask for help.
There are recurrent problems with the buffet, which has to do with proper hot foods temperatures. The hot foods, esp the meats, sausage, bacon, eggs, were way below proper serving temperatures. In fact my coffee today was hotter than the hot foods. I brought this to the staff’s attention and I Spoke to the chef. The internal temperature of cooked sausage, etc should be 140-160 degrees Fahrenheit. Nothing was really done and I’ve had the same conversations with the manager(s) over the past several years. Nothing has changed.
I’m a physician with extensive experience with public health, food quality & prevention. I’m trying to prevent problems before they start. One strategy would be to cover the hot foods & decrease the bulk of the stacked bacon/sausages/eggs from the usual 6”-8” to 3”-4”. The hot tables appear functioning but I have seen them not turned on.
