The location of the hotel is right in the ce tre of the old town, about 5-6 min walk from Selimiye mosque.
The Kervansaray itself is amazing, very historical, looks great with nice lounging space right outside the room. The courtyard is beautifully lit in the evening, just stunning to look at.
Unfortunately, the rooms could have been better looked after. There is a bad smell in some of the rooms, they could have been at least aired before guest arriving. The toiletries were not enough, soap was old, toiletries holder was rusty, sink was moving and the showers don't have doors. We were very pleased to stay in a historical building like that but if the rooms were better looked after, the whole experience would have been perfect. Also, the stairs leading to the first floor were a killer to someone with slight mobility issues.
