Fool me once
I made the reservation w/ my credit card. We brought our pet, so I was walking the dog and my husband went in to let the people at the desk know that we had arrived. The first thing Malcolm did was ask my husband for his identification. Bad idea. This irritated my husband because after he pulled it out, Malcolm said oh no, your wife made the reservation, so she has to come inside and show her id. And it went downhill from there. The best part of the trip was Audrey in the breakfast area, she was amazing, friendly, and one day she was the greeter, and the cook. Food was awesome and Audrey could not have done more for us. She deserves a GOLD Star !!! Both elevator floors were in very bad shape and cruddy dirty. When I walked into the room I opened the room to the bathroom and there were no towels. There were no bags at the Dog station outside which was fine for me, I always have mine on hand but that may have explained why the dog area was littered with poop. Pitiful. I liked the soap and gel dispensers in the shower, they were great. Sad that you got rid of a lot of niceties. No longer had plastic bag in closet that you used to have for laundry. Trash can was very very tiny and divided in 1/2 for recycle. You could not fit 6 cans in the entire basket. Hilton takes on new meaning now for me. I guess when you add "Garden Inn" it means "Hilton-not-so-much"
