I stayed at Faletti’s Grand Bahawalpur from 2nd to 6th, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing.
Customer service was horrible throughout my stay. Power outages were frequent, and when the electricity went out, the generator was not turned on promptly. On one occasion, there was no electricity and no generator from 6:00 AM until 1:00 PM, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.
The towels provided were dirty, which raises serious concerns about hygiene.
The biggest issue was the heating system. The so-called heaters were actually air conditioners, and in the middle of the night they would start blowing cold air instead of heat. I complained multiple times. Someone was sent to check, but he refused to acknowledge the problem and kept insisting the heater was working when it clearly wasn’t.
I eventually involved Expedia to try and change hotels, but Faletti’s refused to refund me. They kept offering different rooms, but the problem remained because the same outer unit was shared by multiple rooms. Even after admitting they couldn’t move me to a room where the heater actually worked, they still wouldn’t offer a refund. As a result, I was stuck staying there for the remainder of my trip.
Overall, this was a pathetic experience and far below what is expected from a hotel claiming to be premium. I would not recommend
