Don't Stay Here!!!
What an absolute disappointment this was!I'm not happy to do this, but I must, in order for some sort of change (hopefully) that will be done. To make others aware that will choose to stay and spend their hard earned money here.
I arrived Friday night, check in was smooth and easy. They require a $100 hold on either a credit or debit card. You'll get the $100 returned in 2-3 business days after your stay.
When I got to my room. The lot and surrounding spaces appeared to be people living in the adjacent hotel rooms around me. People constantly hanging around outside the rooms and parking lot, begging and soliciting hotel guest. Me being from Philly, I'm used to this, but definitely problematic none the less. Could definitely become a safety isue.
The outside door handle to my room was loose. Thankfully, I was still able to use my key card and was able to open the door and it locked properly as well. But definitely could be a potential safety issue.
When I immediately stepped into the room, a musty, mildew smell was in the room. The air quality felt like that of a basement cellar. The room felt damp and I also immediately noticed mold growing on multiple spots on the ceiling (possibly indicating a water leak from the rooms above me). The fridge had a wierd Condensation to it. The microwave was filthy. I used my own personal disinfectant to clean the microwave.
