The hotel room was swarming with giant fruit flies. They were sticking to the ceiling and swarming all over the place. We called the Front Desk clerk, and he immediately switched us to another room which also had swarms of fruit flies. He was very nice and apologized. He did move us to another room on the opposite side that only had a few flies. We killed several of them as soon as we went in, but we were so tired that We decided to call it a day. The room was not super clean. It had a very funky smell to it. The remote was sticky and I had to go get bacterial wipes from the car to wipe it down. Then the TV didn’t work. Again, the Front Desk clerk was nice and came right over and replaced the batteries in the remote - so he did try. I’m sure he did the best he could, but I feel like a discount should’ve been offered. We had three bad experiences in a row within 20 minutes. I didn’t ask for a discount. I am being honest. I would never stay there again.
