The staff were lovely but…
The bedroom window was open when we walked in (it was near freezing outside) and in fact the window wouldn’t close! There was secondary glazing which we put down so helped but there was NO heating on, not a warm welcome!
I told the young man on the desk and he said the heating doesn’t come on until 5pm, it was around 2.40!!!
The bathroom was small… tiny and in fact there was no way my husband could have a shower!!
There was damp on the ceiling, we both have lung conditions so wasn’t happy about that.
The hotel also advertises parking for a fee. I sent two messages to the hotel over a few weeks asking how to book the parking. I had no response at all so I assumed this was sorted on arrival. No, there was no parking left when we arrived… not good at all!
The breakfast was good but tbh, for the money we paid it was very bad value and we will not return!!!
