We wanted to like the Laguna Surf, but we had some issues. First, half the units face the street, not the ocean. The ad is carefully worded to imply units are ocean view, but many are not. The street (PCH) is too noisy to leave the doors open at night.
Next, the A/C in our unit was installed incorrectly, and leaked condensation water all over the couch. It took 2 days to get it resolved. The place was full, so we could not change rooms.
Next, the umbrellas in the shared patio area didn't work, making the tables a lot less useful.
On the plus side, the location is great, the beach access is awesome, and the complex has a laundry room, which doesn't seem to be mentioned in the ads.
