We had a nice stay overall. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
The location was also great — there’s an In-N-Out Burger right next door and lots of shops and things to see along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which is about a 5-minute walk away. It made grabbing food or going out for a quick stroll really convenient.
One area that could be improved is the shower floor. The tiles themselves were fine, but the grout between the small circular tiles looked quite dark and could benefit from a deeper clean. I understand this style of tile can be harder to maintain, but it did stand out.
Housekeeping also tended to come quite late in the day, usually around 4:30–4:45pm. On days when we woke up early and came back to the hotel to rest before dinner, this timing was a bit inconvenient. Because of this, I think our room was only cleaned about two times during our six-night stay.
Another small issue was the window. While we appreciated having a view of the pool, the window itself was quite tricky to operate. Once opened, it was very difficult to close and felt like you had to almost trap your fingers to get it shut, which meant we couldn’t really enjoy much fresh air.
That said, we booked the hotel last minute and still had a pleasant stay. With a few small improvements, it could be even better.
