The property was significantly misrepresented at the time of booking and resulted in our inability to stay at the hotel.
It was advertised that the hotel was located on the same property as the bars, swimming pool, and private beach. Upon arrival, we discovered that these amenities were actually located at an entirely separate location, accessible only by crossing via a ferry. This information was not disclosed in the listing and is a clear example of false and misleading advertising.
Additionally, upon arrival at the hotel, we were informed by hotel staff that the property is adults-only. This restriction was never stated on the website at the time of booking, nor was it mentioned anywhere in the hotel description. In fact, the hotel was described as “family friendly”. We were traveling with a small child and were allowed to check-in but were then explicitly told that our child was not to use the beach, pool or even the restaurant, leaving us with no option but to find alternative accommodation. Then the hotel refused to reimburse us.
