My experience was very disappointing primarily due to the staff’s demeanor and lack of basic hospitality.
When I arrived at night, it was very cold and I needed to check in. The lobby door was locked, and the staff member on duty refused to let me enter, citing company policy. When I asked if I could come inside to complete the check in, he firmly said no and was not welcoming at all. His tone came across as aggressive, and it made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, more like I was approaching a secured facility than a motel.
The room conditions were also poor. The blanket on the bed had holes in it, which reflects a lack of proper upkeep.
In the morning, the lobby door was still locked during checkout, and there were no basic amenities such as coffee available.
I have stayed in many motels and hotels, and unfortunately this was one says the worst experiences I’ve had, mainly due to the staff attitude and lack of basic hospitality standards.
