Stay overall was great.
Build up using Hotel Bird app was a terrible experience and would put me off booking again. Took me days to get myself registered to use the app with assistance from their customer service, and then when I did they could not find my booking, so I had to contact the hotel directly for a second booking number. Then after all that when I finally had the booking on my app, there were two staff members on reception who checked me in anyway, making the entire process a waste of time.
Once we were there though the stay was brilliant, breakfast the best we had throughout our stay and the staff member running it lovely even though we didn’t speak any German, lovely room. There was a stain on one of the duvets, we didn’t raise it as an issue it looked like a stain from a dry cleaners and was only on the bottom of one duvet, so not a problem but could have been checked and changed.
