Lovely apartment with all the amenities necessary, and in a good location close to buses.
It took me a while to find the place though, as the address given on the booking details is not the same as the address of the apartment. I think rather it's the owner's own address, as I ended up outside a completely different apartment block, thankfully not too far away. Details of how to access the apartment were only sent through on the morning of arrival, and as I didn't have access to wifi until I got there, this meant a slightly awkward conversation with the concierge (who was very friendly and helpful). Furthermore, a little guidance as to where things are in the apartment and how to switch things on would also be useful. I didn't find the clothes-horse until I ventured out on to the balcony and found another cupboard out there. I couldn't work out why the microwave wouldn't turn on until I found a load of switches around the corner for all the appliances. And one of the lamps by the TV just isn't working at all (it might need a bulb change).
However, once you work all these things out, the apartment is great! Having a washing machine was definitely a welcome addition as I was between trips and needed to do a lot of washing! Gibraltar was very interesting to visit, like having my home town in a hot country, but with a lot more historical landmarks, steep hills and monkeys. Now that I know how things work in the apartment, I'll definitely consider staying here again.
