We really felt at home after a tiring working day in an extremely hot and full city. We recommend Thanks to the entire team (3 smiley humans) :-)
Excelente.
It is a historic B&B. The property is handsome. My room was very comfortable. It has a large tub.
Lucca warmly welcomed up to the property. Fairly easy to find within a short walking distance from the Rialto Bridge. Great location with the airport water taxi and ferry sysytem steps away. Lucca initiated conversation with where to find restaurants and places out of main tourist areas. Quiet very simple rooms.
We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2019. We had the quad room #302 with 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds. The room was clean, good air conditioner and WIFI. There was enough space in the room, and the beds were ok. The shower was tiny which is normal in Italy. The fridge is optional and 3 euros per night which was worth it. This was a great location! Central and close to everything. Luca was wonderful! Very friendly and helpful! This hotel does not have an elevator so there are a lot of stairs. I don't think there are many places in Venice that have elevators. 71 stairs to our room on the third floor, but Luca did help us with our suitcases upon arrival. We didn't do the optional breakfast for the extra charge, but I would do it next time for the convenience. Great location and great staff! I would stay here again.
Terrible experience Photos make it look nice but it was an absolute dump.
I booked this property via Expedia for 100.00 dollars. Upon checking in I was told that my reservation was cancelled. Luke the hotel manager provided a very poor excuse and I was taken aback particularly given there were rooms available at the property. What I inferred given he also made the comment , “I don’t understand how you didn’t pay 100 euros for the room” was that he personally cancelled the room out in order to receive more for ghf space, Given I had just got off a flight, taken a water taxi and was with two children I went ahead and paid the 148 he demanded for the identical room I had received confirmation on earlier. Worse is that the WiFi did not work. The ceiling leaked and you could hear the water drops all night causing a small puddle in the am. The shower is so small don’t expect to turn in it and the covers on the bed have that itch factor. The location on the other hand was ideal and although it didn’t make up for the stay, once I figured out how to get back to the property (which initially was very challenging trying to find) it felt super convenient. Overall however I would stay elsewhere.
