Great location and room. We had a few issues:
1) Had issues locking safe our first morning. Reported to front desk. Was finally able to lock the safe. That evening, the safe would not unlock and held our items hostage. Called front desk. Took almost two hours to resolve the issue and get our items. Apparently, they didn’t check/replace the batteries before our visit.
2) Requested room be freshened after second night. Refresh wasn’t done when we returned to our room at 4pm. Called the front desk. No action. Had to find a hotel maid. Refresh occurred while we were preparing to go out to dinner.
3) Upon return to hotel after dinner, we found the handicapped parking stall occupied by car with neither a handicap placard nor a hotel parking placard displayed. When we brought it to the attention of the front desk, we were told that the owner did have both. Hard to believe as the hotel staff does not require registration of license plates. We had to park further from the entrance in a tight space. The next morning, at checkout, the issue had still not been resolved…same car without proper placards.
4) Our room was directly below a common terrace area. Other guests were making noise above us late into the night and early in the morning. Front desk staff failed to resolve issue.
The hotel was clean but shows more signs of wear than the three years it has been in operation. We noticed cracked seal in shower door, separating floor mounding and countless wall scuffs in the hallways.
