The hotel was having a major renovation. From the name of Chino hotel to Marriott. Only indication was a rubber floor mat at the entrance, which I thought was the wrong hotel. The lobby had plastic all over the lobby furniture. Not inviting. There were construction out front out back and in the hotel. Plastic was on the floor carpeting of the hall where our rooms were, which was folded and unsafe to walk. No breakfast. All of what was noted when we booked.
We stayed 3 nights and all 3 nights the fire alarms went off between 8:30-9:00 pm. our nephew got scared and we were startled and awoken. How can that happen 3 days in a row? The rooms had some stain on the couch the showers did not have the containers for the shampoo , soap etc. just the brackets, there were still drywall patches in the bath ceiling and the door to bath was falling off. No Blow dryer, iron, iron board or hangers were in the room. no extra blanket or pillows. When we called on the second day of the alarm, the staff did not even apologize. Total dissappointment for the 3 days we were there.
