The 2 stars is for the staff, the location and the comfort of the room. If the staff hadn’t been so amazing I would have left the first night. Pool was down, jacuzzi was down (for over a year) fitness room less than mid, breakfast same eggs/sausage for a week. The worst thing was the “hot water” was barely lukewarm. Staff checked the boilers, they also let me check if it was better in other rooms….at breakfast multiple people on multiple days mentioned they had said something to the desk clerk as well. Went to use my microwave and it almost exploded, I should have investigated after having to plug it in to see why it had been unplugged. It looked like someone had melted something inside that made the top of the inside and sides bubble out. Staff was awesome and got a replacement. I froze after every shower though, and couldn’t even enjoy a long hot shower which is how I decompress after a shift at the hospital. Booked this hotel specifically for the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Didn’t even care jacuzzi had been down for a year per management (not posted on 3rd party booking but supposed to be on their site) but was crushed no pool and I was there for a week.
