The first room we got when we arrived tired, smelled so bad that they put us in another room. That room we had to sleep in that night but the door was apart from the frame by an inch and ppl could see into our room and we could hear everything in the hallway. The next day we asked to be put in a safer room where the door closed completely and there wasn’t a space where ppl could see in. That room was filthy. We have pictures of everything. The front desk asked if we wanted the maids to come up to reclean and we said no as we already had moved 3 times and decided to clean it ourselves. There was also no hot water, and if we got some after running the faucet for awhile, it was lukewarm, until our last morning when we finally had some hot water after complaining about it. It made what was supposed to be a fun time visiting family, to a stressful time. The only good thing was the 3 clerks at the front desk on different shifts, one of which was the supervisor, Anthony, they all were very nice. Anthony had us write an email with our pictures so he could show his GM. He said someone would be in contact with us, and we still haven’t heard from anyone. He did credit us for one night of our 4 night stay. We felt like more should have been done so he said we would have to contact hotels.com since that’s who we booked through. I would like compensation for the room for what we had to deal with. Could someone please contact me directly from hotels.com?
