After paying for the room and going through the online check in at 1:00 AM in the morning…with 6 children ages ranging from 2-11 I was informed the room was not available and Expedia should not have rented it to begin with because the complex is under repair. They did nothing to find us another room and we couldn’t find any motels with vacancy so we ended up driving home instead of checking into a motel.we arrived home at 5:30 AM exhausted and very disappointed. Metro didn’t even offer a discounted rate for a future stay and apparently they aren’t going to give us a refund because Expedia is a third party broker. I was told I would have to cancel the reservation, but of course that’s impossible to do at such a late date.
