The hotel is located right next to both a highway and a railroad, so there is constant noise day and night. The room is not nice and definitely overpriced.
My room key stopped working twice, and each time I had to go back to the front desk to get it reprogrammed. On one occasion, the front desk lady was away. I asked the old guy if he could help me get a new key, but he said no and told me I would have to wait because it wasn’t his job—he claimed he was only the cook.
Later, my white friend told me that the same old guy had checked him in earlier. That means he was capable of helping with room keys. Maybe he was being lazy, or maybe he is a racist. At the time, there were no customers in the restaurant, and he was simply sitting in a booth using his phone.
To make matters worse, the TV and heating system in my friend’s room were not working either.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and we will never stay here again.
